Why Good Nutrition Is Important For Our Bodies

Our body needs adequate nutrition to function. The human body is composed of different types of nutrients that we eat regularly helping us live a healthy life. Proper nutrition helps in attaining a healthy body being the key to goodness and overall well being. Eating highly nutritious food aids the proper growth and development of our bodies. Vital organs like the lungs, liver, kidneys, brain, heart, and pancreas rely on the nutrients provided from food consumption. Nutrition is crucial to our health, it is important for everyone, especially children, seniors, adolescents, and adults. Yes, that means all of us everywhere on earth, all the time.

I agree with most in eastern and western parts of the globe that we need to strive for a balanced or nutritious diet daily not relying on supplements. One major fear is that people will regard anyone who recommends supplements is that many people will maintain poor nutritional habits. Supplements are secondary, because the body usually gets all the essential nutrients from the food we eat when we follow a balanced diet. People who not eat a balanced diet typically feel compelled to take supplements. These include a multi-vitamin or another advertised product making them think this may help dietary shortcomings.

We do not eat just because we feel hungry, although it is one of the most important reasons as to why we eat. Our physical structure mandates us eating in a way to provide the body with the required amount of nutrients.

People also have different reasons for eating; some people eat when they are upset, bored, angry or sad. There are many emotional factors and physical causes that make a person eat even when he or she is not hungry. However, when people eat under emotional influence, they usually choose bad foods over good or healthy foods adding to current problems along with causing other health issues over time.

The amount of media today contributes a great deal to the poor diets of people. This is a problem not just in America. This problem, documented in Canada, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and throughout Africa has different causes. The United States, Canada, and India all have the problems where media plays a huge role. Unhealthy food or Junk Food companies in the US, contribute Billions of Dollars in advertising their products. This includes fast food restaurants as well as companies that manufacture processed foods at extreme margins of profit. These foods take massive space in most grocery stores. Removing this from the landscape in America would devastate an already fragile economy.

I did not mention the Internet yet. The reason is for this is because soon there should be far more information on healthier eating, healthier foods and healthier food preparation. I personally wrote over ten thousand words in various Articles, Blogs, and Comments online covering Healthy Cooking, Healthy Eating, Diet, Exercise, Nutrition, Healthier Lifestyles and Healthier Food Preparation.
